2021 Antonio M. Gotto, Jr. Prize in Atherosclerosis Research
The aim of the Gotto Prize is to encourage basic, clinical and translational research in the areas relating to the causes, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disease globally by being awarded to an individual who has achieved these goals and continues to work towards that end. The award recipient will have provided outstanding scientific medical, or organizational advancement in our ability to understand the causes and to reduce the development of atherosclerosis.
